Privacy Notice

Draft, to be reviewed

Last updated: [MARINA: date]

This notice explains what we collect when you apply for or receive the Style Passport, where it is kept, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted. The controller of this data is [MARINA: legal name and business address].

1. What we collect

We do not ask for health, medical or financial information, and we would rather you did not send it. Please send only what the protocol asks for.

2. Why we use it

Only to prepare and deliver your style guide, to arrange and hold the consultation, to answer your messages, and to keep the records of the transaction that tax and accounting rules require us to keep.

We do not use your photographs or your guide in marketing, and we do not use your materials to train any automated system. If we would ever like to show something of yours publicly, we ask first and proceed only on your written yes, which you can withdraw at any time.

3. Where it is stored

Your materials are stored on our own private server, which only Marina can access, with encrypted key-based login and encrypted backups. Your finished guide is published there too, at a private link that is excluded from search engines.

A private link is not a password. Anyone you forward the link to can open it, so please share it only with people you mean to.

A small number of service providers process data on our behalf, under their own terms:

We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not pass it to anyone else except where the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

5. Deleting your data

Write to [MARINA: email] from the address you used with us and say what you would like removed: your photographs, your published guide, or everything.

We confirm within [MARINA: e.g. 5 business days] and complete the deletion within [MARINA: e.g. 30 days], including from backups as they rotate. Records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices, remain. Deletion is permanent and we cannot restore a guide afterwards, so save your own copy first if you want one.

6. Your other rights

You may ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to stop using it, or withdraw a consent you have given. Write to the same address. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. Residents of California and of the European Economic Area may have further rights under local law, and we honour those requests the same way.

7. This website

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other sites. Our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security, for [MARINA: period, e.g. 30 days]. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the request as part of serving them.

The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data about children.

8. Changes and contact

If this notice changes in a way that affects you, we will tell you by email. Questions about any of the above: [MARINA: email].
